Interesting ancient lamp,
oil (Petroleum) lamp, with green glass tank, with unusual shaping;
The diameter measured at the base it’s about 11 cm , the height is 5 cm (the glass part), excluding the metal wick holder; The glass it’s green water; brass mechanism, without thr knob useful for the exit of the wick( i think is lost)
Object that can be dated between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century.
Present inside an ancient residual of roving, the lamp is as visible in the images, hasn’t been cleaned because I believe that under these conditions it shows all its beauty, is still possible to wash it internally, removing all traces of “dirt” and clean the brass part with a specific product.
It can be understood that it is old if you notice the air bubbles in the glass.
